> simple sentences
i. Josue and Mark like to eat apples. (with compound subject).
ii. Josue and Mark like to eat apples and mangosteen. (with compund subject and compound predicate).

> compound sentences 
i. Josue eating an apple, and Mark eating an mangosteen.
ii. Josue is cute; otherwise, Mark is handsome.

> complex sentences 
i. Martina is clever even though she is poor.
ii. Even though Martina is poor, she is clever.

 > compound-complex sentences 
i. Marcella is clever because she studious, but she is poor.
ii. Steven is popular because he is rich, but he is arrogant.
